Photography concepts and vocabulary
Aperture: Aperture is the amount of light that goes through the camera. It really depends on what F stop your using.
Shutter Speed: How long the shutter is open for, for example if you set your shutter for a slow amount of time the picture could come out blurry/panning. If the shutter is set for a fast speed then the picture will come out focused and stop the motion.
ISO: Its how sensitive the photo will come out. Like if you have a high iso the photo could have noise in it. And if you have a low iso the photo could have more focused.
White Balance: To help the photo not appear over exposed and under exposed. It really depends where you are. If its sunny outside change the white balance to sunny, if your inside change it to shady.
I would use a high iso if i was in a room, a negative affect would be that the photo could have noise.
I would use Av mode when i am shooting portraits, landscapes. Its really if i want a shallow depth of field.
I would use Tv mode when i want to stop the motion or panning. Because TV mode is shutter speed.
